How remote company registration works
You sign a Power of Attorney in front of a notary wherever you are, have it apostilled, and courier it to us. We arrange certified Georgian translation, then register the business on your behalf and deal with the Revenue Service. The tax treatment is identical to registering in person — Small Business Status does not care where you signed the paperwork. What differs is time and cost: the notarisation and apostille steps are what stretch it to two or three weeks.
What you can and cannot do remotely
Company registration, tax registration and Small Business Status can all be handled entirely under Power of Attorney. Banking is the honest exception. Georgian banks generally want the account signatory physically in a branch, and remote opening is decided case by case rather than guaranteed. We prepare the file and tell you candidly how your profile looks before you pay for it, rather than taking a fee for something that may not land.

Common questions
Yes. A notarised and apostilled Power of Attorney lets us register an Individual Entrepreneur or an LLC entirely on your behalf. The only part that usually still needs you in person is opening the bank account.
No. The registration is identical and so is the tax treatment. Nothing on the certificate records that it was done under Power of Attorney, and Small Business Status is available either way.
An apostille certifies that a notary’s signature is genuine so a document is recognised abroad. Georgia is a party to the Hague Convention, so yes — the PoA needs one. Your local notary or foreign ministry issues it.
Two to three weeks for an Individual Entrepreneur, three to four for an LLC. Most of that is the notarisation and apostille at your end; the Georgian steps take a few days.
This is the hard part and we will not oversell it. Georgian banks generally want the signatory in the branch in person, and remote opening is assessed case by case. We prepare the file and give you an honest read on the odds for your profile first.
Certified translation, courier, and the additional filings a PoA registration requires. The gap is a few hundred lari, which is usually still less than the flight.
A notarised and apostilled Power of Attorney, and a clear copy of your passport. For an LLC, the same for every shareholder and director, plus the company name and ownership split.
Yes — ₾2,500, three to four weeks. A branch is not a separate legal person, so it suits a company extending its own operations into Georgia rather than starting something new.
